Since we have maintained two hair departments in our company, both for the transplantation technologies FUT and FUE – each with different specialists, we will only carry out FUE (single hair transplantation without visible scar) from January 2016 on out of conviction.

This is done by absolute experts in their field and with an absolutely natural density of at least

50 – 60 grafts per cm2 in the preparation area.

With an experience of more than 15000 FUT (Follicle Unit Transplantation) transplants, we have developed further in the interest of our customers and according to international standards. For about 4 years we have been performing FUE transplants with more than 2000 treatments exclusively with excellent results. (FUE = Follicle Unit Extraction – the transplants are taken as so-called follicular units from the occipital area with a hollow needle (0.7 mm). Without visible scars. WE ARE A STATE-APPROVED CLINIC

The fundamental advantage of the Follicular Unit Extraction, or FUE for short, is the particular type of hair extraction managed without cuts, since it is not carried out with a scalpel.

With the innovative FUE method, no skin strip needs to be extracted from the occipital area, since the hairs are obtained in single units, the so-called grafts. This corresponds to the natural surface growth of the hairs, which takes place in bundles of one to five hairs. The grafts are extracted with a special hollow needle with a diameter of only 0.7 to 0.8 millimetres. With this gentle and specific extraction technique, a natural hair distribution can be guaranteed for the first time.

On the day of arrival, you will first have another consultation with your treating physician. Any last queries are answered here.

Then the treatment area is marked. According to your wishes, the donor surface (usually the back of the head and/or other areas) is shaved and the recipient area is cut very short. In some exceptional cases, in case of longer hair or with women, there are other possibilities which can be discussed in a personal consultation with us.

After the extraction of the grafts you will take a break. We make breakfast or lunch for you and any companions you may have. Slits are then made in the recipient area for the absorption of the grafts. You later have a short break. The grafts are now implanted in the target area of the head region. Depending on the scope of the desired hair transplant, the single session is six to nine hours long. In case of more extensive treatments, a second or third treatment session may be required on the following day.

If extracting with a motorised hollow needle, a maximum of 4,000 grafts can be transplanted per day within a single session. In case of hair transplants of 6,000 grafts, we transplant 3,000 grafts per day on two consecutive days. The number of grafts required individually depends on the extent of the hair loss and on the hair structure. A tool for hair loss classification is the Hamilton–Norwood scale.

After the treatment, we will give you a free care set to take care of the treated area for the next 2 weeks. Please follow the care instructions.
